Leg Wax

How to Wax Your Legs

Twenty-four hours before waxing, we recommend using a scrub for best results. Our gentle cleansing soap scrub bar is an excellent choice for this.

1. Ensure your skin is freshly cleaned to avoid infections.

2. When using hard waxes, heat the wax in your microwave for about 30-second intervals. Stir the wax in-between each round until it reaches the consistency of thick honey. Always patch-test the wax temperature on the back of your wrist to ensure it’s not too hot.

3. Spread the warmed-up hard wax on your legs in sections,  using a wax spatula. If using strips, simply warm the strips between your hands and apply to your legs, pressing in the direction of growth.

4. For hard wax, wait until it dries (but is still soft). You don’t need to wait for strip wax to dry, but the same advice applies to both: “Pull against the hair growth.”

5. To minimize stinging, quickly apply pressure after pulling the wax off. You can do this either using a cold, wet cotton pad or just your hand.

Remember: Keep the strip close to your skin when pulling.

Proper post-wax care.

Avoid too-hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and direct sunlight. Avoid skin irritation by applying cold compresses and wearing loose clothing.

Exfoliate 48 hours after waxing and twice a week after that with a body scrub to avoid in-grown hairs.
